White Room

The White Room:  Right side,  first floor, one double bed, and 1926-1936 décor.  This room has a double bed with 1930’s and older antiques decorating this single room.  It is adequate for a couple and suitable for a person who does not “do stairs”. There are wedding and party gowns from 50 years ago as well as vintage furniture.  Susan's parents' wedding clothes from almost 70 years ago adorn the walls, as well as party gowns from the 1930's and two tuxedos, one with white tie and tails.

There are seven sleeping rooms in the historic inn.  Built in 1910, this frame building has been restored to late Victorian with the original iron beds and many interesting period antiques.  All the mattresses throughout the entire resort are new 5* Serta firm. While staying in the lodge, the guests are treated to morning aromas of brewing coffee and cinnamon bread wafting from the kitchen. All the meals are prepared in the lodge kitchen and served in the dining room and on the front porch overlooking the lake.

While these bedrooms do not have individual baths, they do share four modern, clean restrooms with a bath and showers located conveniently close to the rooms.  All rooms have overhead fans, antique furnishings and lovely floral, decorative prints with white wicker appointments.
